Sawyer Bennett is the pen name for a snarky southern woman and reformed trial lawyer who decided to finally start putting on paper all of the stories that were floating in her head. She is married to a mobster (well, a market researcher) and they have two big, furry dogs who hog the bed. Sawyer would like to report she doesn't have many weakness but can be bribed with a nominal amount of milk chocolate.

Oh Holy Heck! I love love loved Off the Record!! I don't even know where to start my review that's how much I loved it! So many great things about it!

So Let me start by saying I had NO clue who Sawyer Bennett was ( I know pretty sad huh?)  until I start a book blog and signed up for a release tour for Off the Record. Let me tell you, I'm so glad I did because she is now one of my favorite authors! She write wonderfully and it keeps me wanting more! I also didn't really know there were more books in this series until I started reading Off the Record ( I thought to myself as I started reading " Hey I really like this book so far I wonder what other books this amazing author has" Then jumped right on to goodreads to add them all :D ). 

Especially after reading Off the Record I didn't feel like I needed to read the other books because this one is a good stand alone book.( Although her writing really has me wanting to read more and more of her books!!)  All the books in the series are based on different characters although she throws in  her characters from her other books as side characters...so everything is connected in someway. It's actually really cool. 

Anyways back to the reason why you are reading my oh so awesome blog today...*sigh* LINC ...* cough* I mean OFF THE RECORD :) Okay Okay so let me tell you about the Hawty named Linc..What a babe! He starts off like every sexy hockey player in a book...a Player on and off the ice if you know what I mean..eh? lol He meets Ever and his whole world change. He starts to feel things for her that he has never felt for another women.. Sure he LOVE himself some women action but he has never been IN love with the women he is getting the action from! That was until he meet this broken in to pieces, never trusting any guys, journalist starving for the truth girl. 

They sit down to have an interview so Ever can write a piece on Linc.. although the piece ends up far from true. Ever hears and see a few things believing it all to be true without seeking the truth from the one source who should be asked about his own life. After the story is written Linc gets angry and wants some form of revenge on Ever.

His revenge turns into her coming to shadow his every move for six weeks to get to know the real LINC. During the six week magic happens...not at first but slowly Ever begins to see the real Linc and starts to trust him a little even though she doesn't think she can really. Oh the drama but who doesn't love a little drama in their romance books. :P The steamy scene between Linc and Ever have make this book a whole lot better!! 

All in all I really love the writing, characters, and the story in this book. I just LOVE Off the Record! I highly recommend it to any New Adult and Adult readers who love a heart warming story, Sexy Hockey Players, and Steamy Lovin..This is the story for you!! It's a MUST read!! So pick it up and read it today! :)
