Book Description:

Nardia is a very special nurse, one with a unique gift. With the touch of her bare hands, she can heal any physical ailment. With the help of her angel guide, Benilde, Nardia has healed her way through countless centuries.

Life should be easy for this attractive (not to mention, immortal) woman, but throw in two handsome men, a coffee addiction and memory loss that dates back to the medieval ages, and you’ve got a life that’s more than complicated.

When she meets AJ at her favorite coffee shop, she can’t help but feel an immediate attraction to him. At the same time, she knows there’s more to his story than what he’s letting on. And then there’s the handsome Doctor Regan, who she feels a connection with, but is she trying to make it more than is really there in order to spare her the heartbreak of being with AJ?

Only adding to her problems is the new resident, Dr. Jeffries, who seems out to get her from day one, and a murder case she can’t help solve without revealing her own secrets.

Can Nardia uncover the secrets of her own past while still moving forward and saving those in need of her help in the present?

When I first saw this cover, back when I participated in the cover reveal I thought to myself man this one is going to be a good book...well it was a good book. Although there were a few things I dislike about this story in the end it didn't effect my decision on wither or not I liked this book.

This story is told in the point of view of a girl 'Nardia' who (in present time) is at least over three hundred years old and doesn't look a day over twenty one. She doesn't remember to much of her life before she woke up in the middle of a plague infested town. Lucky for Nardia she has the power to heal. In present time she is a nurse and has many opportunities to heal. She meets a guy at the coffee shop ( who gives her butterflies..awe) but she feels he is to young for her so she starts to go on a few dates with a doctor she works with. After a few dates with the Doc she still can't seem to get coffee boy off her mind..Long story short she date coffee boy, dumps coffee boy, starts dating the doctor again, but need coffee boys help through the story ( even when she is totally undeserving of his help sometimes) and might get put away for being a little crazy according to a new doctor at the hospital...which makes her want coffee boy's help again. lol I know pretty crazy but a really good read.

The thing I dislike was that Nardia never wants to be around Aj (coffee boy) after they break up unless she truly needed his help.(she would give the cold shoulder type attitude and then turn around and be like now I need your help so you have to help me even though I'm a jerk kind of attitude...poor AJ)  She makes it sound like she never wants to be with AJ at all even after finding out they have a history that she was just starting to remember. It just that in the story they seemed so perfect for each other but they say they will never be together again. I guess I don't like it's because I wish they would just be together. I'm not sure how or if their love will play out. I hope it does but like I said I'm not sure. I guess I'll just have to wait and see.

All in all I really did like this story. I can't wait for book 2 to come out so I can see how things play out. I would recommend this book to anyone who like New Adult/Adult books.
