Synopsis:
After I left for college, I thought I’d never see Eden again. But I found myself headed back four years later, destitute and unable to find a job anywhere else. Still, I was adamant nothing would keep me there for long.
Then I met the intoxicating Dax Allard. Copper-colored eyes, skin that emanated an exceptional heat, and a host of strange talents… It wasn’t long before I was drunk on him.
But Dax’s past was darker than mine, teeming with ancient secrets. Falling for him could cost me my life.
I had two choices: walk away or deal with the perilous consequences.
It was no choice at all.
–
Volume I is the compilation of five episodes of the serial novel (essentially an omnibus), and runs about 60,000 words. It is the equivalent of the first book in a trilogy of novels.

About the Author
A huge fan of spooky stuff and shoes, I enjoy alternately hitting up the outlet malls and historic graveyards in Charleston, SC where I live and imbibe coffee. My husband and two small children seem not to mind when I hastily scribble novel lines on stray limbs in the absence of notepads.
Since no writer’s biography is complete without mention of her menagerie of animals, you should know I have one dog that doubles as a footstool, a second that functions as a vacuum cleaner, and a cat that ensures I never forget that my hands are, first and foremost, for pouring cat food.

I first want to talk about how Fevered Souls is written..There are a series of 'episode' (short stories) that make up a 'season'. So it was like watching real episode in your head. A lot was straightforward and cut to the chase type of persona which we find a lot in episode you watch on TV. I for one found this idea to be wonderfully creative. even if S.K Falls wasn't the first to think of it and probably wont be the last to use the idea I still found it brilliant and refreshing. Although now I'm dying to read season 2.
This season of Fevered Souls, features tons in only 5 short episodes. I was amazed at how short but full of life and storyline each episode had. There are smoking hot demons, Hell hounds, and of course a human girl who bit off more than she could chew. Although I didn't find the main girl 'Cara ' to be annoying like other human girl's who get thrown into a mystical/paranormal type world. And where to start about Dax..smoking hot...literately..his skin gets really hot. ( but I meant the other way too.) I loved Dax from the moment he enter the room to turn down Cara for the job. Together Dax and Cara are something else..I loved them together instantly.
All in all I really enjoyed Fevered Souls. I would recommend it to any NA reader who likes true love, hot *cough* Dax *cough* I mean demons, paranormal world, with some thrills and chills of a few fight/action scene.
