Book Description:
After the loss of her parents, Allison Scott spent the past year of her life being emotionally disconnected, and afraid of the loss that comes from loving someone.

Allison is finally ready to find the person she used to be when she embarks on her getaway vacation to Miami. In Miami, she meets Damien Wales—a man who will stop at nothing to make Allison his—in every way possible.

Being heavily pursued by Damien, forces Allison to decide whether or not to open herself up again. Her attraction to him is undeniable, and she finds herself being brought back to life by the mere presence of him. But does she truly know enough about Damien to let herself be open for that kind of pain again?

Damien's tragic past has left him a cold and distant person. However, the moment he sees Allison, he's inexplicably drawn to her. She brings out a side in him that he thought was lost forever.

Damien’s dark past starts to collide with the present in a way he never thought possible. He's now forced to do everything he can to keep Allison in his life as she learns about his past.

Will both Damien and Allison be able to put aside their pasts and learn to trust each other?

(*I received a ebook copy of Trust Me for this tour. I'm not a paid reviewer. All thoughts expressed are my own.*)

My Thoughts on Trust Me...It was an alright book. Not a shout on the roof tops- sing out loud amazing but it was a fairly good read. I would say for me its good as a one time read and that's it.

For the most part I did like the story. I think the story opened up more in the end. Probably to keep the book going so it could be a series. Which there is a sequel. I probably will read it only because i'm a curious cat and hate not finish off the story.

In Trust Me we follow the story of a girl, Allison, who had tragic events happen a year earlier and has lost the ability to trust others and be her true self, that is until she meets Damien. Okay so lets pause for a moment and talk about Damien, I found his to be to over protecting of Allison and not in a really good way.. He seem to have more of a controlling personality and I have read some book guys like that before and liked them but for some reason Damien wasn't doing it for me. I didn't like him being over the top but he did have a few moments of sweetness that made him alright at times but I wasn't a huge fan of Allison sometimes either. I also don't like how fast they fell in wasn't really believable for me. I guess though Damien has his reasons to be possessive and controlling I just felt he needed something more to him. Maybe in the next book in the series he will find it.

That ending and epilogue has me curious as to what will happen. I hope Damien will be able to truly protect Allison when the time comes.

All in all I would say this was a one time only read but may be different for others. I just had a hard time connecting to the characters and the story at times. This is why I personally feel this is a 3 star read.

At the beginning of 2013, she decided to sit down and write it all down, but she kept it to herself. One sentence developed into two, and before she knew it, she had the makings of a novel.
