Title: AWAY
Author: B.A. WOLFE
Published: November 18, 2013
What good is running AWAY when you only end up lost?
Cassandra Pierce had her whole "perfect" life planned out by her parents. One night of pure weakness and lust has her running away from it all and seeking refuge in Alamosa with her best friend. But it seems life has other plans for her when she finds herself lost in the small town of Keaton.
Jason Bradley is a charming country guy. He lives a simple life that’s nothing like what Cassandra is used to. A single moment in life changed everything he thought he once knew, leaving him with a broken heart and an unplanned future.
What happens in Keaton is nothing Cassandra or her heart could have ever prepared for. The instant connection she shares with Jason is no secret, but what they're keeping hidden from one another is. Will these two be able to find a way to trust each other or will their secrets tear them apart?
Where to Puchase
When
and why did you decide to be a writer? -
I've
always loved writing! It wasn't until I read Collide by Gail McHugh
that I realized a person could self publish. It was probably April
2013 when I really sat down with an idea and flew with it!
What has been the toughest criticism given to you as an author? -
What has been the toughest criticism given to you as an author? -
Any
and all criticism is hard to take but in the end, it helps you grow
and learn. I can't really say there has been one that stands
out.
What has been the best compliment? -
What has been the best compliment? -
The
best compliment is when a reader messages me and tells me how much
they loved Away and how much they felt the characters emotions. I was
a roller coaster of emotions as I wrote Away and I am so glad that
those feelings transferred into the book!!
Do you have any advice for other writers? -
Do you have any advice for other writers? -
Write
what you love and push through your fears. I wrote the story that was
told to me through Cassie and Jason and I pushed through all the
fears that tried to hold me back! Don't let your fears define
you!
How many drafts did you have to write for Away? -
How many drafts did you have to write for Away? -
It
started very ROUGH! I got with a beta and we completely restructured
the first 5 chapters! After that, I continued on and after the first
draft was done, we re-read and swapped some parts around, added,
condensed others and then off to the editor. The editing process was
rough, too! LOL! My brain hurts just thinking about it!
Any scenes that were cut from the original that you want to share? -
Any scenes that were cut from the original that you want to share? -
I
wish I could, but NOTHING was cut from Away! And for that I'm glad! I
loved each chapter and scene that was written for Away and everyone
did too!!! YAY! High-five right?!
What inspired the idea for Away ? -
I
was driving home and the idea came to me like a movie playing in my
head. A song triggered it and when I got home I went straight to my
computer and typed out the scene that played in my head!
What was your favorite chapter (or part) to write in ' Away and why? -
What was your favorite chapter (or part) to write in ' Away and why? -
My
favorite part in a book is when two characters realize and finally
admit their feelings. To me that was the chapter I adored the most
and had the most fun writing!
What is your favorite snack/treat or drink while writing? -

YAY!
I have to eat while I write! Gummy Bears! And I have to drink
coffee!! It's a must! I can't even tell you how many mugs of coffee
or gummy bear bags I've gone through thus far!
What are you currently reading? -
What are you currently reading? -
I
actually JUST and I mean JUST got done reading Beautiful Disaster! I
think I am on a book hangover from that roller coaster of a book...
talk about crazy emotions. WOW! Amazing book, I'm so sad I waited so
long to read it!
Who is your fictional character crush?
Who is your fictional character crush?
I
have a few, (who doesn't LOL) But my ultimate is Anthony Rawlings
from Consequences, Truth, and Convicted. I don't even know what that
says about me as a person LOL! But I LOVE him!
Do you have anything specific that you want to say to your readers? -

About the Author
I'm a girl with a passion for reading and desire for writing. You'll find me either reading or sitting by my laptop writing. I have too many favorite books to list but they would all most likely fall under the romance category. I'm a sucker for a good love story, shedding a few tears, and having my heart melted by an amazing book boyfriend! :) If I get free time you might find me watching a movie, my second love!
