THE FRESHMAN: Ana Alves came to college for one reason--to be the first person in her immigrant family to earn a degree. She doesn't want anything to derail her from her pre-med studies, especially a guy.
HER ROOMMATE: Nicki Payne is ready to party and she doesn't waste any time hooking up with a guy in a frat house bathroom. Her motto: College is a time to be young, wild and free.
A GUY: Christopher Knight is the easy-going English major with a sexy smile and killer body who sits next to Ana in her Shakespeare class. Ana finds Christopher intriguing. She just doesn't want to admit that she's falling for him.
THE HOOKUP LIST: A list of freshman girls who are ready for action that's circulated to the freshman guys via a weekly Listserv. When Nicki Payne is one of the first girls featured on The Hookup List, guys start knocking on her dorm door at all hours of the day and night looking to score...
But what happens when one of those guys is Christopher?

The Hookup List was a fun and flirty read with just enough problems for the characters to add the right amount of drama to the story.
The Hookup List is a New Adult Romance told in the POV of the main characters, Ana and Christopher. We follow their story as they start college in Arizona. Ana is a Brazilian descendant beauty who see herself as anything but pretty. Christopher is a hopeless romantic who left California to escape the life of pressure and hurt. They both end up having a class together and seem to hit it off well. Only one problem Ana has a boyfriend. As Christopher and Ana fight attraction for each other...okay more like Ana is the only one try to fight it since she has a boyfriend who she thinks she loves..so letting Christopher continue to flirt with her is just wrong right? But she also feels that is right. Fighting feelings proves to be hard until a List appears, called the Hookup List, this list has names of girls who 'hookup' the most and Ana's roommate made the list..Need less to say that end up bring upon problems for Ana and Christopher. After that problem thing seem to come together a lot more Christopher and Ana. Then more problems arise that might threaten what they have for good. The Story-line was well written, easy to understand and flowed well. The Characters were very likable and fun.
All in all I enjoyed The Hookup List. It was my first read from Dakota Madison but it was good and I will be picking up more books from her soon. Would I recommend this read? Yes, to those who like New Adult Romances you will definitely enjoy this read!
Dakota Madison has been writing since she learned to read and fell in love with books. When she's not at her computer creating spicy new romances, Dakota is traveling to exotic locales or spending time with her husband and their bloodhounds.12novels12months.tumblr.com |
