Title: Breaking The Reins
Author: Juliana Haygert

Horses, mansions, tea parties, and lies are twenty-year-old Hannah Taylor’s life. To others, her family and her relationship with Eric is perfect. But she knows the truth. She lives it.

After a fire takes her grandma's life and kills her horse, Hannah's immaculate life spirals out of control. Her father disapproves of her decision to run her grandma’s ranch instead of focusing solely on learning the family business; Animal Control brings her Argus, a mistreated horse that she can't turn away even though she's not ready for another horse; and her boyfriend, Eric Bennett, a world famous polo player, becomes possessive and authoritarian. Despite her best efforts to disguise it, Hannah grows wary of him.

Then, Leonardo Fernandes struts onto the polo scene. A cocky rookie with a messy life of his own, he’s drawn to Hannah and isn’t afraid of showing it, even when Eric makes it clear she is his and he’ll do whatever it takes to keep it that way. Hannah suffers for Eric’s jealousy. The abuse only gets worse when Leo steals the title of best polo player in the world from Eric.

But the title isn’t enough for Leo. He wants Hannah too, and she can’t deny her attraction to him either. Somehow, she must find a way to break free from abusive Eric before he breaks every bone in her body.

First off I want to say Wow..yeah just wow. Breaking The Reins was simply fantastic, heart warming yet at time very heart breaking story.

Breaking The Reins is told in the POV is in first person. We follow a girl named Hannah as she learns the hard way that life isn't always so easy. After her Grandma and her prized horse she loved so dearly die in a fire Hannah immediately inherits her grandmothers horse ranch. With the struggles of learning a business she barley knows how to run, then having her father not to much her boyfriend always telling her to sell her ranch, it wasn't until she got a rescued horse that things started to change more. That is when she meets Leo. Now I really really love Leo's character. He is fun, loving, and a hot polo player (:

As for Hannah I easily connected with her and fell instantly in love with Leo right side her. Hannah tries and tries to deny her feeling for Leo because its wrong to have them right? Since she has a loving boyfriend who would do anything for her.. better yet do ANYTHING to have her. With her struggling to find her way she learns that people are not what they seem, that you should never judge a book by its cover so to speak because you may never know who they really are. Also that rumors and lies never help if you listen to them. I loved the ending. The whole story flowed wonderfully together. I love the way Juliana incorporated so many things into her story telling. Her description and form of writing had me captivated until the very end.

All in all I very much enjoyed BREAKING THE REINS by Juliana Haygert and will be picking up more book from her very soon. Would I recommend this read? Yes as a matter of fact I would. I highly recommend it to those who like New Adult Romance novels. For me this was Amazing so I say its a
MUST READ!!
