{{Xpresso Book Tours}} Blog tour + Giveaway: [Review] LAYERS by SIGAL EHRLICH

Layers by Sigal Ehrlich

Publication date: October, 2013

Genres: Adult, Contemporary, Romance

According to Hayley love is a subject of ridicule, a myth created by hopeless romantics.

When Hayley makes a resolution to declare her loose lifestyle era R.I.P, it’s all good in theory…

That is until she meets Daniel Stark, a well-respected, mid-thirties business man who is known for his short temper, lack of steady relationships as well as his strict preserve of his private life.

Opinionated, sharp tongued Hayley accidently steps into his office leaving Daniel resolved to put Hayley in her place and have her in his bed.

Both Hayley and Daniel can’t avoid the immediate instigation of the attraction between them.

In a unanimously agreed upon verdict by Hayley and her two best friends, Ian the gay self-absorb, aspiring model and Natasha the witty, borderline neurotic soul mate, Daniel Stark is to be Hayley’s pure physical attraction, emotions aside era closure.

Will it indeed be a closure, or a beginning to something neither Hayley nor Daniel ever bargained for…

(*I Receive a review copy of Layers for this Tour. I'm not a paid reviewer. All Thoughts expressed are my own*)

Okay okay so first off you should know Layers wasn't a complete 5 star book for me.(just rounding up to 5 stars)  The one and only reason really has to do with one of my actual favorite character and that would be Daniel Stark or 'D' as Hayley calls him but i'll get into that a little later as for now all you need to know is that its still an amazingly enjoyable read that with have you swooning, awing, and down right wiggling. :) Sigal is a wonderful writer and her books are very captivating.

Layers is mostly told in the view of Hayley but we get to see a little bit of Daniel POV at the end. Okay so here is the dealio so I really tried see past the problem I had with Daniel but found it really hard sometime. He was some kind of ticking bomb that could change personalities really fast. Hayley would refer him to Mr. Hyde and Dr. Jekyll as he change and on occasion would call him a psycho. So I think that was my main problem with the book because of how Daniel was sometimes but as weird as it is I still ended up liking Daniel even if his psycho ways put a damper on my book relationship with hi,. Although I do have to say that I really really like seeing Daniels POV because he didn't seem as psycho. I liked Hayley as well she was smart, snarky and at times pretty funny. Her friends were fun characters and I actually hope to maybe see some books for them in the sear future:)  As for the story line it was good. The ending is left open as a cliffhanger so it can be lead into the second book Inner Core ( ps BTW is an all 5 star book,,Daniel is much much better in it in my opinion- review to come soon)

All in all I enjoyed Layers. I would recommend to NA/Adult contemporary romance lovers. You will not regret the read. After reading Layers I immediately picked up book 2 Inner Core(Which I was also privileged enough to receive by the author/tour host for the Inner Core Tour) So If you can I would suggest to you to get both books because once you finish one you will most definitely want to start the second on right away!!
