{{ SUPER Tale-Spinners}} [Review] EPIPHANY by CHRISTINA JEAN MICHAELS

Title: EPIPHANY

Author: Christina Jean Michaels
Published: July 19th 2013
Genre: New Adult/Contemporary romance/Suspense

Synopsis Via Goodreads
“I had my first psychic dream when I was nine. Psychic implied power, and powerful wasn’t a word I’d use to describe myself. I couldn’t foretell the future or conjure visions at will, but I couldn’t think of a more fitting word to describe what I sometimes saw in my dreams.”

For 23-year-old Mackenzie Hill, tossing her life down the garbage disposal is easy after a painful incident shatters her life. Her heart is bleeding, and moving to Watcher’s Point is a chance to start anew, only she isn’t prepared for the guy who walks out of her dreams and into the flesh. Literally . . . because she’s been dreaming about this sexy stranger for years.

Mackenzie is even less prepared to face the dark nature of her dreams. They’ve turned disturbingly gruesome, full of blood and murder, and when they begin to coincide with the media’s headlines, she and Aidan realize her visions might be the key to stopping a madman from killing again.

Only Aidan has painful secrets of his own, and perhaps the biggest danger of all is falling for him.

Approximately 87,000 words. Epiphany is a new adult, romantic suspense novel with light paranormal undertones. ***Mature Content Warning*** 17+ for sexy adult situations, language, and disturbing subject matter.

About the Author
Christina Jean Michaels was born in Paradise, California, but she has found the true home of her heart in Eugene, Oregon where she finds plenty of inspiration for storytelling.

When she was young, her mother said she hated words. Now she can't imagine not writing. She became an avid reader when she was thirteen and discovered the world of Sweet Valley High. About a year later she realized she could play God and write about her own characters. She has been writing in some form ever since.

She lives with her husband and their four children—three rambunctious UFC/wrestling-loving boys and one girl who steals everyone’s attention.

Let me start off by saying THANK YOU to Christina! Without you I probably would have NEVER been introduce to this FREAKING AMAZING read!! I'm extremely glad that I was introduced to it and was able to read it. EPIPHANY is full of mixture of emotions and thrills. It was WONDERFUL!!

EPIPHANY is told in the POV of girl, Mackenzie, who is trying to escapes the lies of her mom and finds some peace for herself. I adore Mackenzie, She wasn't a whinny character and was her own person not reliant on other. Mackenzie is also special. She has the ability to see glimpse of the future/Event that will happen and on occasion glimpses the past. This prove to help throughout the whole story. Although I don't know how she lived so many years with this gift because what she see is torturous to think about let alone see. poor thing. But out of all of this she get's the man of her dreams..literately! *Swoon* Aidan, super sexy fine Aidan has been in her dream/visions for years and when she meets him in real life for the first time she throws up on him..lol it was classic! Aiden was sweet about it though, he told her it was okay. Through the story Aiden tries to distance himself from her but can't seem to stay away and for good read too because there just so happens to be a KILLER on the loose in the small town.

There were so many factors that kept me guess. I thought the killer was one person and then prove to be wrong. Then there was a few scene that had me anxious..mainly the DNA problem scene, if you have read this book you know what I'm talking about..The whole time I was biting my nails saying 'tell me already!!' like I said this book is filled with mixture of emotions, I felt thrilled, anxious, happy, scared, warm fuzzy feelings when Aiden and Mackenzie are together ..it really took me for a GREAT ride.

All in all I LOVED Epiphany! It was a thrilling story that has me hooked! I CAN'T wait for book #2 to come out. I'm forever a Christina Jean Michaels Fan! I would recommend this read to anyone who loves New Adult book..This book is for you! Go out and get it now! You wont regret it! SUCH A GREAT READ!!!
