Author: Tabetha Thompson
Published: May 3, 2014
Chloe’s newfound love for Skye grows more and more every day. Never before has she been so enamored by someone. Could that be a bad thing for her though? With all thoughts of Skye and still recovering from her recent attack, Chloe is distracted. Her recently acquired tunnel vision only allows her to see Skye and she misses all the details of the things going on outside her hospital room.
Skye’s love for Chloe becomes stronger every day and so does his instinct to protect her. With Todd still on the loose, the roses that keep appearing on Chloe’s apartment door, Tom’s odd behavior and Sarah missing, Skye is determined more than ever to never leave Chloe’s side. Will Skye’s determination to protect her from Todd, her friends, and even herself be their undoing?

The Friend Zone Mini Review: I really have to be honest here I liked The Friend Zone I really did but for some reason as the chapters switched back and forth between Skye and Chloe it just seemed like each chapter was the same just in a different person's POV. It to me felt like everything was being repeated twice instead of actually flowing into a full story flow. Now please don't think this is a bad review because I have things that didn't work for be because this isn't a bad review. My Pros weighted higher than my Cons. Really Tabetha is a wonderful writer and The Friend Zone was a good read. I connected with the characters even though I felt like things were being repeated a little it didn't really take from the story itself. For warn there is a cliffhanger. I'm not one for cliffhangers but Tabetha had the next book out by the time I bought my copy of The Friend Zone and had read it. It was fast so I'm not to worry about being mad over the cliffhanger.
More Than Friends Review
(*I received an ARC for this review. I'm not a paid reviewer. All thoughts expressed are my own*)
More Than Friends is a delightful read. It is the second book in The Friend Zone Series. It's also the continuation of Skye and Chloe's story and I felt what the characters felt Love, Passion, Fear, and Sadness whatever emotion it was easy to connect with these characters.
More Than Friends was told mostly in the POV of Skye and Chloe, similar to how The Friend Zone was written but there was a few added characters POV's. Okay so it might have been necessary to know what was going on by showing the POV of a few other character but it really caught me off guard because it was suppose to just be through Skye's and Chloe's Eyes right? since it was their story but I actually liked the added characters chapters and felt it connected the whole story. The actual whole story seemed to flow a lot better in this book. Lets forget about everything else for a moment and talk about Skye...*Sigh* I really really love Skye... he is a wonderful, charming, caring, and very sweet.
"That was the day I started believing in love at first sight."
-Skye More Than Friends
Now Chloe I believe is one of my favorite girl character in a story. I have a hard time with girls in a story sometime they are whiny and have a what-about-me attitude but not Chloe. She turned her situation around and chooses to help others and not be a victim. That takes guts and strength to do that.
"I can't let this define me, I'm alive, and will move on with my life. This is one of those epiphany moments I've read about so many times in books. The perfect ah ha moment; a moment of clarity that's meant to empower me."
-Chloe More Than Friends
All in all I really liked More Than Friends! I felt it to be better than the first book (The Friend Zone). Tabetha Thompson's writing, the character and all over story in More Than Friends was able to capture my attention and hold on tight not letting go. By the end I was craving more and more then the Cliffhanger hit. I went in thinking this wasn't going to be another cliffhanger for some reason and when that cliffhanger hit I was like..What the Heck?!?!? I needed more. I have a feeling the next is going to top this one. I can't wait to get my hands on it!

About The Author
About me? Huh well what can I say. I'm a twenty-eight-year-old high stay at home mother of two beautiful girls.
My children are amazing. There isn’t a day that goes by that they don’t challenge my husband and I or make us laugh and feel loved. Growing up the way I did, I never wanted kids, but they’re here and I wouldn’t trade them for anything in the world for. God has truly blessed my family and me.
My husband Bill is the levelheaded one; he’s always so calm and logical, whereas I'm the loud-mouthed spaz that doesn’t know when to shut up. He was my saving grace in a time when I really needed one. I honestly believe he is my gift from God. He’s everything I've ever wanted: smart, kind, loving, PATIENT, (lord knows he needs it living with me) and so very supportive!
I'm a firm believer in going through life’s tragedies and blessings so that you can become the person you were meant to be. Writing has always been a hidden passion of mine and I am so thankful that I finally have the opportunity to share my stories with you.
