(* I received an ecopy of For Real for this tour. I'm not a paid reviewer. All thoughts expressed are my own.*)
For Real was a fun, flirty and easy going read. I found it very much enjoyable.
My Thoughts:
Characters: Okay so for the most part I like the characters.. I enjoyed Shannon and Jett..especially together. They always seem to have better conversations. Shannon seemed like a better character when she was with Jett. Jett himself was wonderful. He was a super cutie!
I really loved Jett's roommate Javier the most though... He always seemed to have good insight or was just a crack up. He was always so sweet to be protective over Jett. I hope to see more from him in the future..His story needs to be told! I however wasn't to big of a fan of Shannon's best friends...If any of them get their own story I hope they become better characters...maybe they just need their stories to be told in order for them to be more likable characters.
Story-Line: The story is about Shannon and Jett as they fake a relationship so that their friends will stop hassling them over dating/having sex. So when Shannon and Jett make this plan they set out some rule to their fake dating...which of course wasn't followed to a tee or they would make excuse to break one of the rules. It was really cute actually..They had a rule no kissing unless in public with people around and he would purposely kiss her, then justify it by saying the were in public. By the end of the story their so fake relationship became not so fake.
All in all I really enjoyed this read! If you want a fun, fast, easy going read that will have you saying aww this book is for you..its a super cute and fun . Chelsea is a wonderful writer and I can't wait to read more from her!
