JILTED
By Sawyer Bennett
Release Day : July 11th
Hollywood hath no fury like a woman scorned. In this fun, flirty second-chance romance from New York Times bestselling author Sawyer Bennett, an aspiring starlet reconnects with her first love.
“Sawyer Bennett never fails to deliver heroes I fall hard for and heroines I adore.”—Violet Duke
Eden Goodnight went to Los Angeles to make it big, not to be publicly humiliated by her cheating fiancĂ© at a red-carpet premiere. But when Eden returns to her hometown to put the scandal behind her, she can barely find a sympathetic shoulder to cry on. Turns out the locals are worse than the paparazzi, and they all think she’s turned into a spoiled brat. But in a strange twist of fate, the one person who seems to understand what Eden’s going through is Cooper Mayfield . . . the boy she left behind.
Small-town charm is no match for the glitz and glamour of Hollywood. At least that’s what Coop’s been telling himself all these years. As Eden’s old flame—and the landscaper for her family’s historic home—Coop feels some responsibility for getting her out of her funk. But as soon as he sees that million-dollar smile, he’s a goner. Soon they’re making out like teenagers again. But when a life-changing role falls into Eden’s lap, Coop just hopes she doesn’t give up on a love that’s meant to be.

(*I received a review copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review*)
Let me start by saying I may love Sawyer Bennett Book but I will always give my honest opinion about them. I wont hold anything back if I don't like them or if i really do. You will find a good review here I promise you that. With that said I enjoyed this book but it wasn't my favorite. Don't get me wrong Sawyer Bennett is a very talented Writer the evidence of this is pretty clear from all the plethora of amazing book she has written. However this one feel to me like so many of her other ones. Story line changed but it still feels very similar to some of the feels of her other books. Not a total bad thing but it does feel like I have read the same story s few times to many.
We meet a drop dead gorgeous Actress, Eden Goodnight, and a deliciously sexy landscaper, Cooper Mayfield ( who I wouldnt mind designing my yard ..hehe) They were in love when they where younger and end up meeting back up fourteen years later. Sawyer did a good job making it feel that the time pasted did make them strangers to each other but at the same time have a hidden love bond that helps the characters connect after so many year apart. I do love how the story is told in duel POV and in first person that is one of why Sawyer books are my go to's for reads. I love read (even feel) what both characters are thinking or feeling in their moments. Sawyer executes this nice they and will always keep me coming back for more... and all the hot guys, romance and steamy scenes help a little too (;
Another amazing thing about Sawyer Bennett books... She almost always has an epilogue. Hers almost always serves a purpose of closing out those characters stories.. finding out how well their stories turn out in the end and she always ALWAYS has my favorite ones... some of the best epilogues out there I kid you not. All in all Jilted was a pretty decent book, Not my favorite sawyer book but one that is easy to read and pretty enjoyable. I give it 3.5-4/5 flaming Hearts. Its was worth reading and I didn't feel like I wasted my time but it still was lacking something to truly to draw me in like a few of Sawyers others books have done.

She believes in the good of others, and that a bad day can be cured with a great work-out, cake, or a combination of the two.
